On our property there is water, but we do not know how much exactly. In order to determine the amount we need to have drilling done. For the water to reach drinking quality we need to install piping as well as a sewage water tank and a filter. After filtering the water will be stored in a fresh water tank and supply the safe house for children even during times of water shortage.

Having our own water supply would safe quite a large amount of our operating costs. However, the planning and installation will cost approximately 10.000 €. If you would like to support this project, we would be very grateful for a donation specifically dedicated to „fresh water project“

Children in difficult family situations need a safe place, which H.I.S.A.R.K. can supply in the safe house for children. The project is based on voluntary and positive cooperation between H.I.S.A.R.K. and the families. The parents will retain custody and the familial bond will be strengthened by visits from the parents and outside help for the families. Depending on the family situation and difficulties the duration of a child’s stay at the safe house will vary.

Our goal is to offer room for up to 8 boys and 16 girls at the safe house. Three team members will be responsible for the children staying at the safe house, Jolin and Victor will be taking care of the boys and Mariska of the girls. Other volunteers will help out as needed.
