The Association
H.I.S. A.R.K. e.V. is a registered non-profit association for humanitarian aid.
The association was founded on August 19th, 2006 in Lüdenscheid, Germany and was approved as registered and non-profit Christian association for humanitarian aid by decision of the tax authority Lüdenscheid dating from September 26th, 2006 (VAT number 332/5796/4779).
We are engaged Christians, who are putting their hearts into helping poor children in Southern Africa. Our leader is working locally with the South African non-profit organization HOPE AND LIGHT, located in Sir Lowry´s Pass/Capetown, South Africa. The association H.I.S. A.R.K. e.V. (= „His Ark“) was founded in order to manage funds raised in Germany. Further responsibilities of the association are public relations and administration.
We all want to act according to the will of Jesus Christ, follow Him and be orientated towards Him in everything we do. Therefore we live by his word, in everyday life as well as in our work for H.I.S. A.R.K. e.V.

Vision
It is the vision of H.I.S. A.R.K. e.V. to teach disadvantaged, neglected and orphaned children in Southern Africa basic Christian values in order to become mature and responsible citizens, who are able to distinguish between good and bad and do good. This way they can hand over the love of Jesus Christ and their experiences to the next generation in the sense of “help to help themselves”.
